FIRST SHOW OF THE SEASON!
April 9, 2006 Newton County Saddle Club Show:
It went Great. He was very good on sunday. Besides a little spunkyness here and there. We lunged
before the halter classes. We placed really well in them to. In color halter we got 6th out of 18 and then we
6th out of 16 in Open Halter Championship. Then we lunged him again and i jumped on him and he was fine and in our 1st
class we got 2nd and then in the championship class we got reserved champion. Then at the end of the day we got high point champion in our Division!!
May 6, 2006 4-h SHow:
This show went great! In the halter class we got 1st place out of about 20 ppl! He did just awesome.
We also won 25 dollars in a certficate to Horse Town. Then we enetered the showmanship class and got 2nd. Then later
on we got 4th and 5th and our riding classes ...we were kinda all over the place. But I was just happy he was doing great
at the show.
June 24 & 25 Youth Jamboree Unrated Show
This show was a BLAST. There was a clinic the week before and money did awesome. He was a bit
wired the first day when lunging, but otherwise he was fine! His jog was super slow and relaxed. Then it was his first time
loping with a lot of other horses and he did a FAB. job!
SHOW: On Saturday we only had one class and everything was very confusing so Money and I were
ready wayyy before our class! It kind of sucked. He was over and I was over it. So we ended up getting 4th place out of about
8.
Then Sunday we showed in the morning with halter and showmanship. We got 1st in Halter and 2nd
in Showmanship! That was exciting! Then our champion class we were right on time and we did awesome!! We got CHAMPION!!! O
man that was our FIRST champion!! And many more to come!!
